ROTTED CANDLES is a series of black and white digital collages that unravel the arc of a codependent relationship, each piece capturing the layered emotions, power imbalances, and blurred boundaries that define such entanglements. By abstracting the deeply personal into surreal, visceral imagery, this body of work invites reflection on the destructive patterns we repeat in the name of love—and the cost of losing oneself in another.
